For Youth

Young people have an important voice to support afterschool and the need for positive youth development opportunities.

Were you inspired by an afterschool program or adult mentor in your life? Have you participated in an afterschool or youth program that made an impact on your life? If so, we want to know! Email MASN to share your afterschool story.

Afterschool Works! Contests

MASN is pleased to offer two opportunities throughout the year for youth to get involved to earn money for their programs and their futures through our Afterschool Works! Video Contest and Scholarship Contest.

The annual Afterschool Works! Video Contest allows youth to create, edit, and star in videos that promote the value and importance of afterschool while earning their programs a chance to win $500! Th Afterschool Works! Scholarship Contest awards a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior who has benefited from participating in an afterschool program, either as a student or as a volunteer.

Visit our Afterschool Works! Contests page to learn more, and to find contest guidelines and applications.
